We had an excellent wealth building seminar in Dallas this past Saturday.  It was exciting to see so many people "light up"!  Truly, that is what drives me.  Enjoy this weeks message and as always, reach out to me if you need anything.

Wealth Building Tip of the Week #2

Become An Influencer of Behavior and thus Change

Multi millionaires focus on behaviors when trying to influence or change others.  This is just a statistical fact.  The reason for this is that by altering just a few behaviors, it drives a lot of change.  To become wealthy in business and in life, you must be able to assist (influence) others to make positive changes.

Let me present an example to better display this.  Lets take the drug problem that America currently faces.  Each day, millions of dollars of illegal drugs are produced and sold in our country, a large portion of them being brought in from foreign lands.  Drug use is directly related to crime, which is directly related to the well being of our citizens which is in turn directly related to our economy (among other things).  Bottom line is we all know the dangers of drugs.  It has a ripple effect that puts our health as a race and our economy at huge risk.

The current method in place to deal with this problem is heavy punishment for producing, selling or using illegal drugs.  We are currently almost 100% focused on cutting off the supply.  We put producers of drugs in jail, we burn their fields, we seize their manufactoring plants.  We spend millions of dollars a month attempting to cut off the supply.  We figure that if we cut off the supply, the demand will magically disappear.    This is simply not the case.  As long as there is a demand, someone will try and supply it.

By focusing on the behaviors driving this problem, we could perhaps more easily solve the issue, without having to chase down drug dealers for the next 1,000 years.

What if we instead focused on educating people on why drugs are not the answer?  What if we tripled our efforts in cutting off the demand?  If there was no demand, would people risk everything to supply it?  Clearly the answer is no.  By currently focusing on the behavior behind the supply, and not the behavior behind the demand, we're getting very poor results.  In fact, the drug problem is only getting worse.

What are you doing in your life / business that is altering the vital behaviors of those you do / wish to do business with (employees, potential customers, distributors)?  The answer to this is where wealth is created.

Would you achieve better results if you assisted others in really wanting whatever it is you're offering them?  Are you trying to gain this by punishment or by positively influencing them to make the right decision?  The answer to this is one of the keys to wealth.

ONE of the most consistent behaviors among true wealth builders is Positive Reinforcement.  The wealthy teach and lead with positivity, you'll rarely hear them say "Didn't I just tell you that 5 minutes ago" or "I can't believe you messed it up again".  Study what the wealthy do, emulate it!
Want to start earning $100k a month?  Start CHANGING YOUR vital behaviors so as to get closer to that result each and every day.

Stay tuned for the next steps....

Best,

Andrew Rinehart
